My Baptism

It was a busy morning. My sisters and I were getting ready to go to church to get baptized. I was nervous as well as feeling happy and excited.
My family and I were so busy packing this and that, it looked like we were flying bees zooming around.
As soon as we were ready, we started to gather everything in our dark blue car.
As soon as we were finished gathering everything, we drove to St Paul's big white Catholic Church.
As we walked into the warm, calm and quiet church, I saw some nice people who were going to watch our baptism. We gently walked to the front row and sat on the cold seats.
In a couple of minutes, Father Keane came out and asked the god   parents to come up and bless us.
Next, Father Keane was saying some words. He asked if we could now come up and lean sideways over a large wooden bowl with freezing cold holy water in it and, as soon as I knew it, Father Keane started to pour cold freezing holy water on my forehead, making the Sign of the Cross. "That means," he said, "I have now baptised you In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen."
My forehead was wet so Mum wiped my forehead and now I am baptized.  I am so happy now.
