World of Maths

Mackenzie.JPGOn Monday, the man of World of Maths was in the quiet hall making some fun activities for Room 1, 2, 3, and 4s. Amaya, Morgen, Amelia and I were the Group 5.

The first fun maths game we did was See-Saw. The aim of the game was to see how much a small block could make a heavy block go up not down. We thought that game was cool. The man was Mr.Karphet but we called him Mr.P. Our favourite maths game was the Bird Race.

El Grego

On Friday, last week, the whole school went to see an anti-bullying show at the hall. This man called El Grego did the amazing magic show. My favourite trick was when El Grego invited Moses up to the stage to do some tricks (but it was actually ElGrego who was doing it) because he did tricks I’ve never seen in my whole life, like he had a hat and a cloth and turned the cloth into a very long scarf and the scarf colours were every colour of the rainbow.
He got a box with nothing in it and he opened the box three times and wallah! a tiny bird was in the tiny box.
“WOW! That is magic,” I said.
Moses was very funny. Everybody at St Paul’s School was laughing. I thought how Moses was feeling. I bet he was feeling all funny inside when he did the tricks, then that was the time I remembered that I’d seen some of the tricks last year he came to this school.
