I am 7 years old and I like to go to school and read books. I like reading Rumplestiltskin and I like to taste the nectar in flowers. I have to be careful which ones I taste because they might be poisonous.

My Baptism
It was a busy morning. My sisters and I were getting ready to go to church to get baptized. I was nervous as well as feeling happy and excited.
My family and I were so busy packing this and that, it looked like we were flying bees zooming around.
As soon as we were ready, we started to gather everything in our dark blue car.
As soon as we were finished gathering everything, we drove to St Paul's big white Catholic Church.
As we walked into the warm, calm and quiet church, I saw some nice people who were going to watch our baptism. We gently walked to the front row and sat on the cold seats.
In a couple of minutes, Father Keane came out and asked the god parents to come up and bless us.
Next, Father Keane was saying some words. He asked if we could now come up and lean sideways over a large wooden bowl with freezing cold holy water in it and, as soon as I knew it, Father Keane started to pour cold freezing holy water on my forehead, making the Sign of the Cross. "That means," he said, "I have now baptised you In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen."
My forehead was wet so Mum wiped my forehead and now I am baptized. I am so happy now.

My Long Distance Race
One sunny day, my friends and I were going to have a long distance race. I felt so nervous and excited. Mr.K had a loud gun that did not hurt anyone. I had to do three laps.
I was counting “One, Two, Three and BANG now GO”. The wind was rushing at my face giving me fresh breeze. I was in lane two. I past three girls and now four. I was in the lead of coming second. I had butterflies in my tummy and that made me go faster. One more lap to go. That was the time I just remembered to give it all I got at the last lap. That is what I just did. I am still in the lead of coming second. The finish line was wide open so I speed as fast as a racing car and I ran past the finish line. “WE WHO” I screamed.
I was holding a plastic plate with the number two on it and that was the sign of coming second place.
“Uh Oh. Now I just remembered, in two weeks time, I’m doing interschools!” “UH OH”!
