Anzac Day 2015

Today was Anzac Day, The day when we had to get up early.
“Wake up sleepyhead” Dad said softly at 4:00am.
I got out of bed and got dressed into some warm clothes then I went to the kitchen where Dad was making porridge and a milo drink each. I started the daily plan and when I got to eating my porridge it was really yummy.
My family and I got into the silver car and drove off to my Grans. We’re here, At my Grans, Finally. We didn't hop out of the car, we only went to my Grans to show her that we are going to be at the parade not lost or anything like that. We drove off going to the Anzac parade. Now we need to find a car park to park while we walk in the parade. We found a car park.
I saw some people that know a lot about the war. They must of been in the war to know it. The Soldiers started marching to the beat of the drums then we started walking and following them to the Cenitair where people give speeches and talk about the war. On the way I saw some poppy’s that some people put down as a remembrance of the Soldiers that fought in the war. At 5:49am I saw a shooting star. I made a wish. Here I will tell you because it is only on the computer. I wished this:
I hope that all the soldier’s will be safe in Heaven and that people who didn’t fight in the war will be thankful for what they did for us.
And that's what I wished for.
After the Parade, we went to my Mum’s cousin house and had a fun time. At her house we played minecraft on the X-box and watched movies. It was fun. At 4:00pm we went back home and I had some toast for dinner  and started writing this story about my Anzac 2015. What a day!!!

Lent

lent
lent is a time when we get ready for Easter.

We pray that this Easter will not be taken out on chocolate eggs, Because it is about Jesus, Lord Hear Us.

For Lent we would give or give up something.
Here are some of my thoughts.

- Give                                                        - Give Up

-Toys.                                                                 -Lollies.
-Give $1 every week to charity.                            -Breakfast.
-Time (Play with brothers                                                 -Unhealthy food (Bag
sisters.)                                                                              of chips, Fruit strings.)

Best Animal Friends

Friend’s don’t always have to be people, They can be animal’s.

If you have any animals in your house? Do they act nicely? Well they must be
friend’s.

When We Went to Hamilton Zoo

It was a sunny and good day. Room Four and I had earned lots of marbles for our good behavior and we were going to the Hamilton Zoo to learn how animals live and for our project.

We were walking to our first animal in the zoo - the cheeky monkeys. They were hanging upside down. There were big long logs going across in the huge cage. They were leafy.
“Chatter! Chatter! Chatter!” chattered the two noisy birds. They were so white, they looked like snowmen on the thin sticks that went across their cage. To me, it looked like they were dancing on their yellow stick legs on the thin sticks.
Thirdly, we walked to the fat Red Panda’s big jungle cage. “Where is it?” thought our group.
Suddenly, we spotted the lazy fat Red Panda fast asleep on a wide flat brown log that lay across the enclosure.
Next, we walked to our next animal, which were
was the rhinos. They were stomping around on the hard ground.
“Try not to get them angry!” warned Mrs Thomson.
“ Okay,” we replied.
The fat rhino was up close, staring at us as if he was going to run at us.
“Nice and still, nice and still,” we said, sacredly.
The good thing was that it didn't hurt us.
We next walked into the Zoo Classroom. The teacher who was there was Ken and he showed us around. The classroom was fresh but it had dead animals that had been alive before but they had died. He told us all about animals and how they live.
Wow, that was fun at the zoo. I need to go again.
